This past Monday, August 27th, 2012 my Grandma Vis was taken to her eternal home in heaven at the age of 96 years. She was remembered by her family of 9 children, 33 grandchildren, and 56 great-grandchildren. Grandma was a big part of my life growing up; we lived just 3 miles away from Grandma and went to her house every Sunday after church. Grandma Vis was a strong Christian woman, always working hard for her church and community. She loved to bake and play games. I am so very blessed to be a part of her legacy.
Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church was near and dear to my Grandmother's heart. Ebenezer CRC is located in Leota, MN where I was baptized and professed my faith. It was good to be "home".
