Space Camp

 At 5am on Thursday, May 7, Hailey boarded a bus with 17 of her MS classmates and chaperones;  her destination was: Space Camp in Huntsville, AL.

Their first stop was in St. Louis at the arch.  

 They arrived safely at Space Camp after a 17 hour bus trip and an overnight stay in Missouri.

Team Conrad completed a mission in which each team member had a role.  Hailey was flight commander.  They completed their mission but did almost leave some of their astronauts out in space by closing the doors too early.

The trip home included a stop at the Field Museum in Chicago.

Hailey was eagerly welcomed home by her family who missed her so very much.  She talked for hours about her adventure!

What an incredible blessing for her to experience this!

Happy Mother's Day!

 Taylor's 3rd grade class had to say farewell to their little chicks that they had watched develop and grow over the past month.  This was truly the highlight of the year for Taylor.

 This mother's day weekend marked the 5 year anniversary of my friend, Andrea, being cancer free.  Andrea was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 32.  This year we all went to run with her at the Avera Breast Cancer run.

 The girls completed another year of piano lessons.  They worked very hard each week and did great job at the recital.  This year they had Miss Stella for a teacher; we enjoyed her very much

Lake Minnetonka Half Marathon

 May 3 was an absolutely perfect day to run our first half marathon at Lake Minnetonka.  We enjoyed a beautiful route winding around the lakes and fabulous homes.

3 on 3 Hockey

 Saturday mornings have been spent watching Carter play for the Thunderhawks 3 on 3 hockey team.  The team is a ton of fun to watch.  They are currently 3-4 and in third place in the league.

Grandparents Day 2015

 Grandparents Day at Calvin is so very much fun for the kids.  They love to show off their school and the fun things they do each day with the Grandparents.  This year was the first year that we had all three come to school!

 Hailey had the privilege to be cast in the Middle School musical as a jungle animal in this year's production of Seussical the Musical!  She learned a ton about what it takes to pull together a production in just two short months.
