Hailey Accepted to Wake Forest University

Hailey found out that she was accepted to Wake Forest University on Dec 12, 2020.

She is beyond thrilled.  Both Mike and I know she will thrive at this university, but struggle with the thoughts of her being so very far from home.

Hailey Joy will do great things.......time to let her fly.

 

Carter's 13th Birthday

Carter's Birthday was celebrated at home.  The pandemic spiked just prior to his birthday shutting down hockey and school for a brief time.

Carter's favorites are currently:

Vikings, Stranger things, Madden, Hockey, Steph Curry

 

Grandpa Vis Abdominal Aortic Aneurism

Covid was rarely responsible for anything good, however, when my dad got covid and had a prolonged recovery, they did a chest CT that inadvertently revealed that he had a 7cm abdominal aortic aneurism.

Care and surgery was done by Mike's partners at MHI.

Dad was in the hospital for 8 days following the open repair where they placed a graft.

This was the day before Thanksgiving.
