Washington DC Visit--2016

While Mike took a class for continued medical education, my parents and myself toured Washington DC.  I was the first time in Washington DC for all three of is.

Our hotel was conveniently located just 3 blocks from the front doors of the White House.
The Washington Monument is the focal point of the mall

The front steps of the Lincoln Memorial and you can see Abe sitting powerfully in the background
Our first look at Washington DC was on a Big Bus tour
Arlington National Cemetery was a heavy and reverent experience.  Above is Mom and Dad by JFK's grave site and below is the changing of the guard by the tomb of the unknown soldier.

Mom and Dad in front of the US Supreme Court
All three of us in Nancy Polosi's office
Our hotel and all our rain gear for the very wet final day in DC
 The Holocaust Museum--Heavy
Above is the back yard of the White House where we waited outside of in the rain for an hour and a half to get in for a tour of the east wing.
This is a grand ballroom where both bodies of JFK and Lincoln were viewed

Mom and I on the front steps of the White House
Our final meal out in DC at "rice"
Did they make a democrat out of him??????

CCS on Broadway--Hailey--2016

Hailey participated in the play again this year at CCS.  It was  a collection of classics put together into one show.  Hailey was in the sound of music as one of the children; I believe Louisa.

After the sound of music she quickly had to switch to a much different character as one of the "pink ladies" in GREASE!

It was such a fun show!  She loved the dances and songs the most out of the experience.

Back stage, I was part of the hair and make-up crew.  They were really a great group of kids and working together with them was a great experience

Hailey's most loved fans after the show!!!!!!!!
