Hailey completed her science fair project on the effects of backpack weight on kids' spinal heath.  She presented it to judges and also completed a 22 page paper.  She qualified her project for regionals.

 Hailey also spent a full Saturday at the Minnesota Honor Band Society event in Elk River where so performed 5 numbers in the evening along with 100 other students from around MN.

 Carter competed against two of his buddies from school in hockey.

 Hailey spent a weekend at Camp Shaminough in northern MN with the youth group from church

 Carter enjoyed some beautiful nights with outdoor hockey practice

 We hosted the Zobel girls while Ginnie and Wil took a trip to Mexico.

GEMS--Badge Saturday

 Julia and Hailey visited Candyland downtown where they worked with a chocolatier and made several tasty treats.

 In the afternoon, we braved cold temps and went to Woodlake Nature Center where we learned about hiking and went on a a snow shoeing adventure!

It was all of our first time snow shoeing.

Happy Birthday Taylor & New Year 2016!

 Taylor Ann turned 10 years old just before the new year!  We celebrated all day together starting at the Original Pancake House for breakfast, The Mocking Jay part 2 movie, welcoming "Freddy" the hamster into our home, and ending the night at the MN Timberwolves game.
