Valentine's Day and President's Day Weekend= No School!

 On February 12, Mike went to Taylor's 3rd grade class to talk about heart health.  They are studying body systems.  Taylor was so very proud of her daddy.

 On February 13, Taylor's class went to Feed My Starving Children to pack meals.

 We joined the Brouwers for a "stay cation" at a local hotel.

 The following morning was cold and crisp, but it didn't keep us from hitting Afton Alps for some fun skiing!  Carter is now an independent skier!

There are no pictures of Taylor because I never could keep up with her!  She is a wild ski women and that races to the bottom of each hill.  She is impressive!

Geography Fair and Golden Gophers Basketball

 Hailey qualified to bring her Hawaii geography project to the Museum of Science.  She received 5 excellent ratings.

After the geography fair, the girls headed to Williams Arena to watch the men's gopher team take on Perdue.

Jamaica--No Problem

 It was time for some adult relaxation away from work, kids, and winter.  Time to reset and recharge our batteries.  It was Loren and Julie's honeymoon, but look who all came along:  the most fun people you could find!  13 of us went to Ocho Rios, Jamaica.  Our weather was unseasonably windy with scattered rain, but it didn't stop us from enjoying the sun when it came out.

Taylor and Jaclyn have birthdays close enough to combine their birthday party with their classmates and friends.  This year the party started off a bit rocky with Jaclyn in the ER getting stitches after falling on the ice rink outside of school.  The party went on without her at the Roller Garden, but she did make it for presents and cake!!!
