Hailey just started another 10 week session of dance class at CSCC. She was really excited to go especially since she is earning the money for it each week by doing some daily chores.
Last Tuesday night was Dad's Night at preschool so Mike and Hailey made it a date. They spent about an hour at preschool playing games and doing crafts followed by a meal at Snuffy's Malt Shop.
Hailey just can't get enough of coloring lately. She is coloring about 4-5 pictures each day. I don't know what to do with all of them and they each are most precious to her. Pretty good for a four and a half year old don't you think?
We had to get some doctor pics the other day for Dad. He has to speak at "grand rounds" at the hospital next week Wednesday and needed a closing slide for his presentation. In my opinion, it is the best part of the presentation and pretty much the only part that I understand.
He just keeps getting chubbier and chubbier. We are starting to near the end of 0-3 month clothes and already in size two diapers. The change in diaper size is much due to my frustration of him wetting through his clothes; maybe I'm just not good with the change in anatomy.
I just had to post this picture after describing our little Taylor at her two year birthday. She had just struggled and struggled to put on her own pants and refused any help. The results: the worst plumber butt possible; one that happens when your pants are on backwards.
Poor Carter was subjected to some play time with the girls; it was much more fun, according to Hailey, to have a real baby in the baby bed. The bath was my idea and actually went really well.
Carter and Mike were in some need of some bonding time the other night so we warmed up a bottle and he sucked down 4oz without a problem. Hailey was quite jealous and keeps asking when she can do the next bottle.
This year we brought in the new year with the Beckerings' at a nearby hotel. We ordered in food, froze the kids in the pool, and watched the ball drop. There was never a dull moment with 6 kids!
